Photo shoot helps launch new campaign to get city cycling

Cycle Exeter launched a new campaign starting in June to encourage all city residents to enjoy Exeter with the freedom only a bicycle can bring. With Exeter having been chosen as a flagship Cycle City, the council are relying on high profile campaigns to maintain Cycle Exeter’s presence across a wide area of the city:

“The Cycling Town programme for 2008-11 will entice people to ‘learn or return’ to cycling. With the Exe Estuary Trail and Haldon Forest on the doorstep, residents and visitors can experience cycling in a beautiful, traffic-free environment, then return to Exeter and use  the  cycle network for commuter or utility trips.”

So the photo shoot was fast-paced, helped by an excellent detailed brief from Cycle Exeter, with the added bonus of the sun smiling on us! They had arranged a good number of models to parade, and we caught a few impromptu Cycle Exeter moments on camera – ‘woman with dog in basket’ becoming an firm favourite image overnight.

Client feedback was very positive as you can read below:

“We absolutely love the photographs and want to send a sincere thank you. We were so impressed that you managed to get such a lot of lovely images in such a short time” – Cycle Exeter, Devon County Council
