Our studio shots looking tasty on new website

Rookbeare Farm’s products are gathering popularity, and are already distributed through many well known stores including Waitrose, Harrods, Ocado, Otterton Mill, Riverford Farm Shop, and Darts Farm amongst others.

We were pleased to be able to offer our studio services to Rookbeare to undertake a photo shoot to capture their range of sorbets and ice creams. Which I can hand-on-heart say are tremendous. Particularly the passion fruit sorbet. But I digress…

Although most of our work is done on location, we do for occassions such as this have a studio just outside Exeter which is ideal for controlling the light, particularly great when shooting things like ice cream, and other products. With a full day booking confirmed, we shipped in various freezers and random scoops and tubs, and carefully scooped, teased and sculpted the ice creams with the client and an Art Director. Particularly memorable was pouring espresso coffee on the vanilla, followed by several tastings – ah hem. Waste not want not. Or should that read waist not want not…

Have a look at their new website if you’ve got a moment, as it’s helpful for you and I to see the final images working, and lovely to have seen the project through to a polished and finished state. We’re pleased, but see what you think.
