Photography to help launch Met Office weather app

November 01, 2012

This week, The UK Met Office are launching an updated weather app, and to help users identify with the new software we were asked to photograph the app in use. It was important that there were no reflections on the glass, and I wanted to get the images right straight off without needing any editing or post production.

These shots are straight out of the camera, no editing was required.

We shot 45 images in total, lens used was the super sharp Canon 100mm macro L IS, and three softboxes provided the light.

You can download the apps from iTunes for IOS, and for Android using Google Play.
